Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel said that after Toto r was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.
Rachel recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.
Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. Rachel has accused Wow! My Dog of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He said that he uses the method himself on his dogs.
Gate News called Wow! My Dog and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Gate News that they were looking into the allegations. When asked about Wow! My Dog, the woman quickly stated that check here it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
